ALLISON HARTNETT
Allison graduated from Lock Haven State College with a Special Education Degree. She taught in York City for 10 years prior to Shiloh UCC ELC. Allison has worked at the ELC since 2001. Prior to teaching Pre-K, Allison was the Enrichment Coordinator as well as a 4's teacher.
Allison is married and has 5 daughters who attended the ELC. She also has many grandchildren. She loves to walk for miles on end, and she enjoys spending time with her dog, Joshie.
DIRECTOR
SAMANTHA DEL-GROSSO
Samantha earned a degree from the Art Institute of York. Prior to joining the ELC, she worked as a General Manager for a health facility for eight years. During Covid, Samantha helped with home schooling her nieces alongside her own children. She started her ELC journey as a Pre-K volunteer along with teaching summer camps.
Samantha lives in Dover with her husband, Nick, and their two children, Ava and Harrison (a proud ELC graduate). She has a dog and two cats. In her free time she enjoys working out, listening to podcasts, cooking, and spending time with her family- especially while camping or at the beach.
AMY DRESSLER
Amy earned her B.S. degree from Susquehanna University. She was a kindergarten aide at New Salem Elementary School. She also coached gymnastics for Champions Training Center.
She is married and has three children and several dogs. She enjoys walking, working out and being with family and friends.
KATE GOODLING
Kate graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School and studied at Essex Community College. She has been married for 15 years and has two children, Logan and Allison. Both of Kate's children have attended the ELC. Kate has worked in our Enrichment program and subbed at the ELC since 2014 and has also volunteered for the West York School District.
SARAH HERMAN
Sarah is married with two children. She and her kids all attended our preschool. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, crafting and spending time with her family.
ANNETTE JULIUS
Annette graduated from California University of PA with a degree in Early Childhood Education & Special Education. She received her Masters in Education from Penn State & her Educational Leadership & Principal’s Certification from Shippensburg University. Annette taught elementary learning support for 12 years & was an elementary principal for 8 years in the Spring Grove Area School District, before staying home to focus on being a mother.
She is married with three children, all of whom attended Shiloh UCC ELC. During their time at the preschool, she volunteered in their classrooms and served as a parent member of the Advisory Board. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, & spending time with her children.
BECKY KERN
Before joining the ELC, Becky worked at Memorial Hospital in the lab as a phlebotomist. She also coached West York High School Swimming and Diving before starting her family. Along with teaching at Shiloh UCC ELC, she is a PIAA Swimming and Diving Official for York and Adams County.
Becky lives in West York with her husband Zak and their two daughters, Kensi and Maci. Kensi is a recent graduate of the ELC, and Maci will be in attendance this year. She enjoys going to the pool all summer and spending time with family and friends.
KAREN LINGENFELTER
ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR
Karen graduated from Lancaster Bible College with a B.S. in Elementary Education and Bible. Karen previously taught high school Spanish I & II at KDO Academy for 2 years. She's been a 3's teacher for over a decade, and she is also the Enrichment Coordinator. Karen teaches Movement Mondays and Spanish.
​She is blessed to be married with five boys, one daughter, a son-in-law and two sweet grandchildren. In her free time, Karen enjoys exercising (walking and hiking), hosting family dinners, leading women's small groups and savoring her wonderful friendships.
DONNA MINNICH
Donna is a Penn State graduate with a B.S. degree in Behavioral Science and a Secondary Education Certificate. She has been with the ELC for well over a decade. She worked in the Enrichment program and was the team leader for the 2's prior to working in the 4's classroom. While her children attended preschool at the ELC, Donna was a volunteer and helped create a Lunch Bunch program for the 3's. In addition, she has been on the ELC Advisory Board for over 16 years.
​Donna is married, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, shopping, watching her daughter dance and son bowl.
ERIN REAM
Erin graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders. She has also completed additional coursework in early childhood and special education. Erin has been a counselor at Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind and the Early Learning Center Day Camps. Additionally, she has volunteered at various Deaf camps and has worked one on one with children who have special needs as Therapeutic Staff Support.
​Erin is married and has 2 sons who both attended the ELC. In her free time Erin enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking and hanging out with family and friends.
Her daughter-in-law is the other Mrs. Ream!
JESS REAM
Jess started at our school working in our Enrichment program and being a classroom substitute teacher for several years. She earned her Child Development Certificate from Ashworth College.
​She is married & has a daughter who attended Shiloh UCC Early Learning Center. In her free time, Jess enjoys watching her daughter cheer, socializing with friends and cleaning her house with Norwex!

KAITLYN RHODES
Kaitlyn graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. She received her Master of Education in Educational Leadership and principal certification from Cabrini University. After teaching in public school for 7 years, Kaitlyn became a stay-at-home-mom when her daughter was born.
She has served on the ELC’s Advisory Board since 2019 when her daughter began in the 2’s class. Kaitlyn has also volunteered in the classrooms and taught Science for Enrichment Program at the ELC. In addition to teaching at the ELC, Kaitlyn works as student teacher supervisor at York College.
Kaitlyn loves spending time with her husband and daughter, family, and friends. She has two dogs named Pippin and Roo.
T A N Y A S H A D E
Tanya graduated from Central York High School and studied at HACC while serving in the Army Reserves. She has been married for 12 years and has 2 boys, Malcom and Carter. Carter attended Shiloh, and that is when she became a long-term substitute and now teaches Enrichment classes and Pre-K when needed. Tanya also spends her time volunteering at West York and running the Elementary Book Fair.
In her free time, Mrs. Shade enjoys reading and drawing, playing softball, and watching her boys play baseball.
CHRIS SPAHR
Chris has a Child Development Associate Certificate from Bloomsburg University and is certified in Handwriting Without Tears. She started working at the ELC in 2008 in the Enrichment program and also helped coordinate and plan Lunch Bunch.
Chris is married and has 3 daughters who all attended the ELC. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family, friends and her two dogs, Maggie and Harlee.
EMILY WAMPLER
Emily earned her BSBA degree from Shippensburg University. She has volunteered in the Central York School District for well over a decade. She substituted in Central elementary schools as an instructional aide. Emily worked in our Enrichment program before joining our teaching staff.
She is married with three children, two of which attended Shiloh ELC. In her free time, Emily enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and watching her kids play sports.
